I Just wired up my guitar. I used two hum buckers with a three way switch and two volume and two tone control knobs. This is my first major wiring job, and I must have done something wrong, as it doesn't sound very loud at all, the knobs don;t all work, and don't do what they are supposed to do, it doesn't make sound when plugged into my tube amp, only my cheap bass amp, it makes loud scratchy sounds when I mov the three way switch, when I flip the three way switch, it doesn't seem to do anything, and for some reason, pedals don't work with it, as in distortion pedals don't add distortion. If any of you are well versed in wiring, could you please help me figure out what I did wrong? It would be a huge help. Thanks a lot,Grant

A great web resource to check out is http://www.guitarelectronics.com/category/wiring_resources_guitar_w... Just about any combination of pickups, switches, etc is there. A book you may want to get that I love is Electric Guitar & Bass Design, by Leonardo Lospennato. I have found it very useful, including the above website resource.
