Tuner pegs added and screws were salvage from older VHS tapes I no longer use. You get 5 screws out of a cassette. and work awesome for tuners.

I believe they may be steel. But we easy enough to snip to length with a pair of fret pliers or wire dikes. I have used a dremel cut off wheel too. With long enough handle they snip quick. I would say that the length of the screws might be 5/8 - 3/4". And I cut them to be just shy of the thickness of the headstock I made at that time. So I don't cut them the same length everytime. I felt it was cheaper that buying at the hardware store till I need too. ThX for the comment brutha !!
