Hudson Terraplane hubcap diddley bow

I got my diddley out to practice up for the Cally-Fest diddley bow open mic night. The winner gets a corndog and a free outhouse pass.Old build. Old builder. 24 inc scale. Longer would have been a bit easier (more forgiving) for me to play, but would have been too long for good S thetics.Elmar single pole mag pup gifted to me from good friend, Maddog.Tuned G using an A string from an electric six string set. I think electric strings slide better.

    Thanks, Ron.  I bought this one on ebay some years back.  It's in only fair shape.  I splurged a little, but have been glad I did.  I think I got for 40 some dollars.

    Been wanting to build one with the Terraplane hubcaps. I keep watching for them but they have been out of my price range. First one I saw belonged to Seasick Steve. Wanted one ever since.
