    Nice! I have several hubcaps from all sorts of vehicles...haven't done anything with them yet...but seeing this gives me an incentive

    I have no suggestions for strings, but this looks great!  Your econoline lives on, in a way!

    After my 87 econoline burned up I used the hubcap to make this banjo but not sure what gauge strings to use and what is the best tuning.  It is a 22 1/4 inch scale.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
