    Thanks John,this sounds more like a guitar with the wood top and my lack of banjo skills but still fun to play. I would say fretted :>)

    I really like the way you did that neck and fret board.  I was listening to Willie Watson play claw hammer style banjo this morning.   I need to finish a few projects first, but I am thinking about banjos and trying to learn claw hammer style.  I failed once before.   Would be cool to try again on a self made banjer.   Fretted or fretless....  Hmm.
