    Hey Corey - Glad you like it.. I have been schlepping this wood around for years.... I only use it on special projects.... There is information out there on making your own. But I have not tried it yet... Happy building my friend.....

    Thanks BC... That is a piece of Spalted Maple (from a tree that grew in the backyard of the home I lived in when I was in high school) .....

    great work on the neck shaping jim,great detail in the heel cap fer sure. it almost looks like marble.
