  • Honestly, I think Youtube is the best and only resource I use. Search on blues harmonica instruction and it comes up with TONS of guys who teach, have websites, DVD's. Adam Gussow, Jason Ricci, Dan Gage are really good at teaching beginning and advanced. These guys are awesome and give great tips. Bending is the key to good harmonica playing....it takes a bit but once you can do it....its next level.
  • Do you know of any good resources on the Internet to help someone get started playing blues harp?
  • I learned to play a little bit on a tremolo when I was a kid but have picked up the diatonic about 4 years ago. I have 2 Lee Oskars as well....they are great harps.
  • I have a couple of Lee Oskars which I like. All I need to do is learn to play em!
  • Thanks, those are Huang Star Performers (relatively inexpensive). I've upgraded recently to Suzuki Blues Masters set (far superior). I've recently learned to bend a bit and there is a big difference.
  • Nice. What make?
