Harley is a calico and all calicos are girls. We have a black cat named Rockie and people hear her name and think she's a boy kitty. Two very fine builds and a nice kitty.
Fortunately Harley is a girl.... named as a kitten because she used to purr so loudly and violently that she almost used to vibrate off the place she was sitting.
