  Hi Eli..The plate came with 4 plastic type of mounting bolts with the little chrome covers..Thats what I used..I ran the neck almost clear thru the box and glued it to the lid of the box..It is fairly loud without the amp..The whole box resonates..Jim

  Of course they do! I have an old license plate I was thinking of making into a resonator, too. Is yours just attached with the four original bolts? Does it make any noise acoustic?
