Ok see the pickup without the magnet piece? There's a main hot connection going from the switch to the volume pot. Put one connection feom the coil to the volume pot and the other cnnection to the switch. So in a normal Strat schematic the wire that connects the volume pot to the switch and drop a coil in there.

Cool., can you explain the connections or point to a schematic? I heard of using a dummy coil, but I have never tried it,..
