hand-wound pickup

Just finished wax potting this one ( wax is 1/2 beeswax, 1/2 paraffin wax). It is a half of a six string single pole pickup, stripped old broken wires and re-wound with 42 gauge enamel coated copper.Wound with cordless drill.

    Hey Mike...just tested it (plugged in and held above another strummed guitar) and sounds good. Just finished staining box, so when dry, gonna put it together. "Put what together", you may ask? We'll have to wait n see
