This was the only place that made sense to affix a guitar strap button on the bottom of the guitar.

  • I mounted dual-piezos inside the box  . . . one embedded with hot melt glue in a bottle cap and hot glue mounted on the low note "G" string side of the bridge inside the lid.  The second one is sandwich-mounted beneath the thru-neck and the bottom of the cigar box just above the silver sound hole opening shown in the photo above.  If you shine a flashlight in through the silver sound hole cover and look up toward the through-neck, you can see the 2nd piezo mounted there...

@ Muddy Creek Guitars . . . When I first saw that empty CB at one of our local Cigar and Coffee shops, I knew it would be a perfect box for my grand daughter's build . . . It even has the word "MO" written across the face of it - which is exactly what she used to say when she was very young . . . (she could not say the word "no" yet . . . and the "mo" substitute word has stuck with the family in their conversations with her to this very day . . .  :-)

  • I have that same (or very similar) box!  Quite sturdy!  I see the output jack - hidden mag pickup or piezo?  Perfect spot for the strap button on this build!  Very nice, George!

  • Unique box!
