For some reason I find myself naming the parts of my triangular box using nautical terms. Here's the bow going together. After gluing it up, I glued in a triangular corner piece that is shaped like a triangular prism about 1 inch tall and 3 cm deep. I built up this triangular piece by cutting six similar sized equilateral triangles in the cherry trim wood I'm using and I glued them together. Then I filed and sanded until I was happy I had something close to a 60 degree angle. I also cut a slot in this corner of the box to receive the neck. The neck is attached to the box using a screw through this triangular corner piece, and a screw through the midpoint to the transom (the bottom side of my triangular box).
