Gluing on the Sound Board.

With the back board glued on and the neck attached via 2 screws, I proceeded to glue on the sound board. I decided to use 2 mm thick veneer rather than build it out of the same cherry trim wood so that the sound board would be thinner (2mm rather than 5mm). Thinner sound boards are supposed to sound better. The veneer is cheap and tricky to work with as you can easily split the sides when you saw the wood at odd angles. There's a place on the back of my guitar which had to be filled with home made putty because I was rushing things a bit, and because I wasn't using my fine toothed razor saw. Maybe I'll paint the bottom to hid this flaw, but I haven't decided yet.
