The photo is from the National Child Labor Commission, 1908. The subject is a "carrying-in boy" from an Indiana glass factory. I got it from the Library of Congress picture archives (http://loc.gov/pictures/). Just a really intense looking kid.
He was also on the "ball" team; he looks just as intense here, but check out the two mugs on the far right:
