OMG is that a factory guitar? And a *&^ six string? WTF?My friend Terry found this guitar discarded at the landfill. The belly was up and the saddle was coming up. It took some time and a couple of efforts to make her a player. She sounded good and played easy.Today I installed a Florentine Screamer pre-wired pick-up from C.B. Gitty. I had to power sand (remove) a decorative 'notch' on the pick guard that came up along side the fretboard and did not fit in this application. That went well and so did the installation. Getting my thick forearm into the sound hole and reaching the holes I drilled - just barely got it done. The magnetic poles on the pickup did not line up with strings as well as I would have hoped, but the plugged in sound is great and acoustic still sound good.Gitty describes the pickup as under wound and dirty sounding. Man, did he call it. It sounds more like a CBG than any six string my half deaf ears have heard.I LIKE Lorretta.

Thanks, Rob, Shane and Slim. Saving and repurposing for instruments seems to be a passion for us. I've played this git more in a couple of days than I've played a six string in the past year.
