I haven't started the build yet (still waiting on more parts). I can either rivet the copper piece to the steal piece that it is patterned after, or use a copper cabinet hinge as a tail piece. So I'm still considering the options.
Here is a building question. I have a spun copper cone that i'm going to use in a build. I would like a copper tail piece to match the copper. I made one out of copper that is .025 in thickness. Is copper strong enough to hold the stress of the strings? If not, should I go thicker? Anybody have any experience with this?

As I said on FB, I thought it was too thin. What did you end up doing Mike?
