Galvanized Bailing wire Frets

I really tried to play the cbg I built fretless with a slide. I am NOT a slide fan. I am a picker. I made a staple shape out of the straight wire, pre drilled all of the hole and drove them into the fretboard. They turned out great with almost perfect intonation. Some had to be sanded down a little but there was very little fret buzz.

    Could you describe your process on how you installed them?  Did you predrill the holes where the frets attach?  Are they held in by glue or just nailed in?  I've heard of people using nails as frets before.  I like the look of the bail wire.

    I'm going to use bailing wire for mine as well.  Also what did you use to layout your frets?

    Looks great.  Like how have the lighter wood insets.  Amazing.  I am not so much a slide guy either.
