I wanted to get some photos of the body before i put the strings on, because as you can see i had to cut a big hole in the middle of the neck wood in order to get the pickup in. this meant that there was a big weak spot in the middle of the guitar, and there was a real danger that as i tightened the strings, the whole thing would just fold in half. luckily it didn''t. Don't know how long it'll last, there is some pretty impressive tension and bend in the middle, but its ok for the moment.
