I had this idea about 3 months ago, before i started building this. i couldn't see anyone else who had done something like this, but as soon as i started building, about 6 weeks ago, someone put pics up of their 6/3 string guitar. I thought of it first!! lol I love playing 3 strings, and thought why not do what they do with a 12 string. so the strings are tuned Dd Aa Dd, spaced just far enough appart to be played together or individually, although individually is difficult. it was a bugger to get the tail piece holes in the right place, but it now sounds awesome, as if there are two guitars. its such a full tone, especially when you put the tone to treble and the drive about half whack. Yum!!
