I see your point and admire the philosophy. You know, it looks better than alright as it is and your work and wood tones - excellent. I probably would not have said anything except overall, I like it a lot.
I hear you, that's a fair point. I wasn't sure about the contrast either to be honest, but after some thought decided to leave the 'found object' part original. Guess I might not have made the whole thing if that bright orange pan hadn't caught my eye, it just felt right to let it be!
I like your name and admire your work. For me, the orange on the pan does not work. In fact, I would likely paint the whole pan brown to match that very fine git.
