Thanks Southern Ray, well they're so fun and quick to build and for me the challenge is what can you do w. only 1 string and a slide? For me it's inspirational. I've used cardboard shoe boxes, Altoid tins and you-name-it for the body. Fun! -Glenn
The diddley looks like the only CBG that I ever sold, though mine was an accoustic. Sold to a very excited young college student. I miss it, but got an enthusiastic kid that wanted to learn about diddleys, a diddley bow. (That sounds a little naughty) It would be hard to find one here.
As for blues, also thx. Lots of peeps don't go far in studying so don't have nothing but MY FAVE and that's it. I get that but the world doesn't dance around the illustrious "me"- HA! No way to love my neighbor when it's all about me and my gig. -Glenn
Thx Doug! Simple "take-down" as a chap. asked me to build and play during a set behind bars. I reminded him they won't let tools in, so I bring it w. pickup attached, tuned, and w. a slide. During setup slide neck out (box glued shut) then re-assemble to play. Going to re-do w. the darker box. -Glenn
