The guitar started with an old coke sign and I built the box and guitar around the sign. It has a bottle opener on the tail end.

    Thanks uncle John. The neck is really a big chunk of wood. But to me it feels comfortable- kinda like an old baseball bat

    Thanks for the comments. I taught myself how to letter by hand years ago when I was interested in making signs. I used some chalk to sketch out the basic design. I lettered with a brush and lettering enamel. The neck is made from some really solid oak. Some was from old oak flooring.

    Very nice.   Unlike many Sixers, this looks like a true home made neck and a good one.
