  • Thanks folks. Phil, yeah I kept the tremolo system, I just don't have the bar. The entire inside if the box is pretty much solid except for the pickup cutouts and bridge. On the underside of the body is a cutout as well. There is a metal bracket attached where you hook 3 springs to the bottom of the bridge for the tremolo action. You also ground the electronics there. Remove the panel from the back of an strat and you'll see. The bridge itself is just screwed into the body.
