The humbucker sounds sweet...clean or otherwise. It is hot, as wired now (15.6K). I did not install a coil tap (push/pull potentiometer) to split the two coils, but I may do that still if the potential buyer wants it that way.

Yes, I was surprised too about the output. I've used single lipsticks before, and they usually measure around 3.4K ohms.
