  • The Slingers songbooks are “Chugger Ready” and free. Hundreds of songs! You can check them out here: Slingers Songbooks Rock on!

  •  Very cool, Ron. I just might try those suggestions. Two more future projects. Let's see, two plus a hundred and seventeen...

  • Nice. I like the Padron boxes. Built some 2 stringer's a while back. I am an extremely poor musician and I find the chuggers allow me to get some good sounds. I now buy very small cigar boxes for next to nothing and build them into chuggers and diddley bows. A small box with a piezo makes a funky microphone as well.
  • Thank you for the kind words, Doug! Much appreciated. It's gonna be new to me. I've been concentrating on learning my way around a diddley bow or three lately. Hope to have this thing finished by the end of the weekend. Hoping for a good weekend.

  • It’s gonna be a looker Ray! The woods all look great together. I love playing my chugger; they are fun and easy. Press on!!!

  • I like the colors and shapes of this red oak and the box. The wood they used to make the sides of this box looks a lot like it could be red oak. I kinda doubt it, but they match very well. Still not sure whether to make it electric on not. Might just see what she sounds like acoustically. I could always wind a little mahogany chugger bobbin that I have in a container. (You can see it in the background), Looks real good next to the top... Decisions, decisions...

  • Thank you, Keith. Hope your doing well.

  •  Thank you, Uncle John. I really appreciate it.

  • Love the colors and shapes.
