Oh no! Strip it for parts.. That 13th fret is the most important one! Certainly just kidding. The perfect build is probably not going to happen for 98% of us. If that is the only fault, your grade is still A++.
It's actually not bone. It is Staron counter top material from the local Home Depot cabinet department collection of samples. Thank you for the comments. I've been studying building them for quite some time and spent a lot of time on this one. I have one regret and you'll notice it if you look close. I got off on my fret measurements a bit. I used a spreadsheet that calculated the measurements. I should of just used one of the online fret template creators. That 13th fret just isn't right! :)
Man, that looks great. Looks like a skilled 12th build, not a first. Pretty looks, good proportion, sturdy neck, angled peg head, bone nut and saddle, low string action, volume switch out of strumming area. Super!
