  • pretty cool for a first build, its fun huh. watch out though its addicting lol

  • Not a bad deal on the parts Selena, look out for damaged gits at a bargain price and reuse, some of the most unlikely items can be made from kitchen/bathroom items, junk and antique shops, pound shops as we call them, car boot sales (yard sales) thrift stores as I think you might know them etc are all treasure stores. Won't be long before you will be looking at the world in a new (what can I make that into) way. Be prepared for people to consider you totally insane just like the rest of us, hub caps and stainless peddle bins the list is endless. Just feel confident and ask if you need help, lot's of great people here, Chris. :)

  • Hey Chris, yeah I bought some of the parts but built it myself. Total cost was only about $5 for tuners, $2 for box, and $1.25 for 1/4" fretboard so it was a pretty cheap build, I had the other parts already. The CBG Fest was in York, PA. But yeah, thanks! Excited to be here =)

  • Hi Selena, welcome to the mad house, hope this is the last time you will be buying rather than building! 2013 CBG Fest in York? Here in York,Yorkshire England or New York or just another York? With Jarvis Cocker of Pulp just down the road, I wanna be where the common people are, just like me! Go for broke sunshine and start your own build at a fraction of the price, there are loads of folk who will help and advise here on the net and you will feel proud to be one of us. All the best mate, keep on junkin, Chris. :)

  • Great job Selena!!!

  • Looking great!

  • This looks great. Very impressive for a first build. I'm midway through mine - if it looks half as good as this, I'll be a happy man!

  • Nice!

  • Thanks! It's finished now, I haven't gotten around to taking pictures of the finished product. Oops, ha

  • Looking real good!
Can't wait to see it finished!
