Finished rescue guitar.

I previously posted a photo of this guitar with a temporary saddle and asked for saddle/bridge color advice. That advice ranged from red, to white bridge/black saddle to what it ended up, black bridge with white bone saddle. Also two or more liked the idea of a red eye on the wolf. I tried that in a mock-up and liked it better without. This guitar was gifted to me with top, back and braces needing a big re-glue job. It was a six string with green and orange and old hippie paintings. It is still rough, but I like the look quite a bit and it plays and sounds about at about a grade C level, which is not too bad. Thanks for the suggestions.John

  • Nice save for the win!

  • Thanks, Bjorn!

  • Howling Wolf is back! Nice job Uncle John!

  • Thanks, Ambrose.  It does look good if you stand back a bit.  Give the wolf some room.

  • Top job... a howling success!

  • LOL, BQ.   I wish I could.  Thanks, Denbo.   I like it, but the wolf's den is getting pretty full.   I think it's best I don't take a count.  Plus two gits started out in the shop.

  • I bet you can play “Bark at the moon” on 4 strings :D

  • Thanks, AGP and Derek.

  • I agree, it looks great! Love a good resurrection ;)
