  • AGP, ya I sucked dust all afternoon. Not cedar, but maple and cherry. Making a batch of honey spoons for honey pots made yesterday. I work outside in summer and try to avoid the drift. Still have sawdust buggers though...
  • I can't help but admire (and envy) your skill and patience! Dave, look forward to seeing the finished product.

Be careful of that cedar dust though, my Thoracic Doctor told me a couple of years ago that (from memory) cedar dust etc. has a natural acid (or something similar) which can be harmful to your lungs, but your right it does smell good.

  • By the way Maddog. Congratulations on your well deserved "featured instrument". That license plate guitar is as pretty as Art itself.
  • The cedar is light too. Now it,s sanded, the grain lines are like Doug fir.
  • Agreed Dave, maple would be a b*tch with the right tools :-) Good choice.

  • I,m glad I chose Cedar for the first try Maddog. Hard Maple would take forever using my tools.
  • Oh my! That's lookin' good!!!

  • Eaten lots of cedar dust Uncle. Smells good.
  • The dead sea scroll!   Masterfull!
