  • Forgot to mention 25.5 scale length.

  • This is a hickory neck through design. It has a purple heart heal. Real Bone nut. Hand wound humbucker (real pain to get right lol). Grommet sound holes. Tele style bridge is screwed into and extened neck section. MOP inlay with bound inlay fret markers. Medium jumbo frets. I was in a hurry with this one because the rush to finish for the reunion. Would do a much much better job if I had time to put some creative work in on it. Really simple piece. Finished with Danish oil. Thats it.

  • "Nice"   :-)

  • That is far from a white elephant.

  • I seriously admire this work ! How did you brace the inside?

  • Yes this was my entry. Thanks for the compliment. I was trying to build this for a white elephant gift for the family reunion but didn't get it done in time. The build only took a few hours but the pickup was a pain to get right.

  • The shape and lines, the tin, the wonderful fret marker inlays!  Wow.   That tailpiece looks good. but seems a strange choice for a banjo.  Oh. Nice shotgun looking control knobs.   Is this an entry in that tin build contest?  Lots of good stuff in tin here lately.
