May I ask, how do you know how many winds to wind? I have an old sewing machine motor, with a foot peddle. Been thinking of giving it a try, but I know nothing about making one. Where to get magnetics?
I feel your pain. I got my one all done only to have it fall off winder. Of course the lead end of the coil broke off. Had to get out the x-acto knife and cut it all off and start over.
