this is a conventional scarf joint 4 piece neck. the 15* degree angle is cut first, and the remainder is butt glued to the back of the main peice. The mahogany neck ears are then glued on, as is the the heal. Finally the headstock is resawn from 3/4" to a proper 1/2" and the back of the neck is rounded.
This is great. I'm new to woodworking and I'm curious as to how you make the headstock. Are you attaching 2 pieces of wood to either side to make it wider and how are you securing them? I would like to have headstocks like this on my builds.
