That's a nice collection of stick dulcimers. Most of my CBGs are modeled after stick dulcimer, too. I'd like to know how you build both of these style sound boxes. I guess for the round one, you have to steam and bend the wood. Do you have any more photos of your setup and a build using this process? If so, I'd like you to visit my CBN discussion group called "Home Made Resonator Boxes 101" and do a tutorial/discussion of your process. We could set up and advanced section that discusses these more traditional alternatives to the rectangular sound box.
