Proto 1_neck mounted to top. You can see the various support blocks and 'screw blocks' mounted inside. they're all cut so the thing closes perfectly flush all around -- and to the neck

with the body being that thin do you find that its not as loud as thicker box, with just acoustic. I know with a pickup it doesn't matter.
