Eric and his family came over to the UK for a combined business and pleasure trip. My girlfriend (who took the photo) and her daughter and I met up with them at Camden market in London. Finally back home after a long day of typical travel ordeals. Normal stuff when traveling internationally with young children. Add to that an almost 2 hour flight delay from Newark to our home airport. Got home after midnight local time after starting our day at 8AM UK time. It was just too much for the kids to handle.

Woke up 3:30 AM.
Started caffeine drip infusion 5:30 AM.
Overall a great trip even though my Engilsh friends couldn't arrange any nice weather for us that stretched more than 3 hours. We carried umbrellas every day and put them to good use. Lots of fun and lots of memories that will last forever.
Thanks Uncle John! On Tuesday night there were fireworks in Kimbolton....but this was for the kids leaving school. We thought it might have been for us.
We stopped into the local Tesco grocery store on Wednesday and there were UK flags hanging all over the store which were not there the day before. I'm pretty sure that WAS for us.
It was a great chance to meet up while we took a few vacation days in London and a great recommendation for location by John. We will venture back to Camden Market for sure. I've probably been to England 20 times and this is the first chance I've had to spend any time in London. The family had a great time.
Our UK business partners have little care that we will be working in the office tomorrow. Just another day over here, I guess.
