  • Hi Doug. I play with a lot of dulcimers, and I started making these because folks asked me to. I played a regular mando, and some folks wanted something to cut through the dulcimers with a nice ring. They are easy to play for a dulcimer player, no new learning curve. The cigar boxes always bring smiles to all the tourists at the places we play, railroad museum, Smoky Mountains Park, etc. They have good volume, and with a little piezo pickup they sound great.
  • You don't see one of these everyday!!! Nice laminations on the headstock. How does it play and sound?
