Very nice looking cbg. I am trying this type of license plate build just as soon as the snow is gone so I can access my shed again :) I was thinking of suspending the plate of the box in all four corners so it would act like a big resonator... Wonder if it will work out... Any tips? You clearly nailed this one.
Thanks. I originally want to be able to play it while standing, but the neck ended up having a bad back bow and the trussrod is non-adjustable. So it's a lap steel. It has a piezo on the plate and a HB with coil tap.
I yanked the frets out since it's a lap steel. Will put some zip ties in the slots. I need to make a more raised up nut out of some Aluminum I got in my shop. I'll get around to it soon.
