It really does! The split pot means I can play just the North single coil of the humbucker, just the South coil, full humbucker, or a blend (dampen either the N or S coils). It gives an impressive array of sounds out of one p'up. If I had room for a tone pot, too, it'd be perfect. As it is, its pretty dang good.
