JF: I use 500K pots almost exclusively. The p'up is, indeed, one of Gitty's. The sound is a wonderful crisp and clean vintage sound. They are a bit more passive than I'd like, but it could be I have this one mounted a bit too far from the strings. Its got almost 3/16" of gap between string and p'up when fretted at the highest fret. I'm going to add a shim to the mounting surface to see if that makes it better. As it is, the piezo is noticeably louder than the mag p'up. In most of my other builds they are about the same.
