  • Bob, I like his sound clips.  Especially Cackalacky.   The singing on that one reminds me of John Prine.

  • I like it. Nice and clean with just a touch of flair.

I'm in Johns camp as well.

It's amazing what folks can and do with their builds. Incredible works of art that anyone can appreciate but to me the simple builds have a charactor all to themselves. Also, I've heard many a simple build sound better than their upscale counterparts.

    Simple is good.

  • Thanks Uncle John!

I'm a terrible player - but I'm working on it.  My son, though, is fantastic.  He picked this one up and was quickly playing "Howlin For My Darlin".  Sounded great.  Before he heads back up to school I'm gonna try to get him to make a video or two.

He has uploaded a few sound clips:

  • You know, I comment on a lot of nice looking guitars, but they mostly are not my style.   This one IS.  This would have been nice without the wolf and the key.  But those two thing take this to a high 9 on a 10 point scale.

Only thing to improve it would be if you can do a good 'Key To The Highway' and a classic Howlin' Wolf song.
