No , not neck through, but reinforced. I made an oak frame all the way around the inside edges of the box. Seemed to be the right amount, it's good and ridged. It sounds nice to me but I haven't heard any other pure acoustics so I can't say how the volume rates. Hard part was getting the label off in one piece. Then I used it to mark the sound hole and then glued it on the bottom directly below the hole.
I like the big sound hole and you may have given me a good idea. I have a red brickhouse that I screwed up the area approx. where your sound hole is while trying to cut in a mag pup. Maybe I could do similar -- Oh! Not a neck through. Interesting. Wish I could take it for a test drive.
Brickhouse. This one is all acoustic. Great for playing when you don't want an amp or a lot of noise. I've got three more of these boxes and I think I'll make them all the same.
