  • Excellent, man!   Somehow from this photo, I really liked it but judged the scale wrong.  It looked smaller to me than it is.   25 inch scale and a player and cool looking.   Dat's a winner.

I like the sound of six strings in open D.  It's just that open G suits my voice a lot more often.   I'm more of a 3-4 stringer, but LOTs  of folks here  like six stringers.

LPGs are hot right now.  I need another LPG like I need a hole in the head, but this one makes me want to find the right plate and build.

  • Uncle John, you lost me! You think it's more of a wall hanger when looking at the small pics, but "more of a player" when pics are viewed full size?  Anyway, it's a great player. Full 25" scale.  Lots of sustain due to the hefty neck and oak box. Plenty of twang with the steel bridge sitting on the license plate.  Plate is only supported around its edges - top is cut out under the rest of the plate, so you get good vibration. I've got tuned to open "D" right now.  Sounds great on "Steel Guitar Rag".  Call it Guitar Box Blasphemy, but I prefer six strings.

  • I looked at the other photos of this and clicked full size.  It looks like more of a player viewed large.    I do want to hear about it.

  • Jersey Jeff, forgive me if I am wrong, but that is a super looking wall hanger and maybe a good slider.   Is it a better player than I am thinking?

Man, I like the look, but would prefer it in a 3 or 4 string.  Tell us about it.
