@Tracy. its amazin what ya can do with just the one drum. i made a banjo and a strange lil 3 string. ill put pics up l8r. just about to build a bass banjo outof a floor tom. yehaww!
had the same problem. but i just cranked the drum pegs to buggery. soon stopped that lol. snare'd be great tho. im about to do a floor tom one. should be interesting...
very cool, I made one too and would like to make another but use a snaredrum with more lugs. my first instrument had too much up and down bridge movement when changing tunings

Looks good. I just picked up a snare at the thrift store for $2. Ill cut it in half and make 2 out of it
