Uncle John, I know you have made that comment before about how far back the tuners should start. Derek, whether straight or making it angled 1 1/2 would be the best way to go. And if you want them across from each other, then just add wings on the sides.
Hi Guys! I appreciate your comments. And I agree with everything. I don't mind the offset tuners, but should've had them back further from the nut. Especially since the head stock isn't angled back. Thanks!
I agree with Kieth, more space from nut to first tuner reduces problems. Nothing wrong with the uneven tuners, looks fine. I think it is better to route the strings in a more straight direction. Nothing wrong with having the strings wind from the outside.

Have read, that the tuners should be back from the bridge at least 1 1/2 inches to start, or you could have trouble playing it at the first fret.
