This is the 'tweaked' and semi- final version. I borrowed fret board ideas from a git of Justin Mills that I like.I scrapped the idea of my first ever magnetic pickup because the neck inside the box was in the way. There was 'Arts In The Parks' today in our town today and I took it and played more than an hour.. Plugged and unplugged (piezo) it played easy and well. And it sounded good. The doubled middle string gives it a bit more volume and a nice bit of jingle jangle. I think a lot of folks would leave it be.I may end up removing the small D string. Maybe it is just because the sound is not what I am used to, but I think I will like it better with my personal fave GDG tuning. The doubled middle string idea is worth doing.

Very nice Unc...very nice. It's sounds weird but as I was quickly scanning the pics this morning, this git called out to me and somehow I knew it was your build before I even looked! She's a sweetheart...rock her gently!

Thanks Bob. It is a real reso cone. I bought it some time back on ebay. Can not remember the price. Pretty cheap... $25 or so shipped.
Nice. Is that an honest-to-goodness reso cone, or is that a pie plate?
Thanks Wes and Chip. Chip I a GDgB and DGBD. I just to better with 3 strings.
give it a shot with the middle strings split---I prefer 4 strings over 3 tuned 1351 or 1513
Thanks guys. It's likely to be a keeper.
nice job unk
splendid, like the fretboard ,and the scratchplate and the head and all
think you're right not to fit the pup, use it for another one, twin neck perhaps?
With the doubled D!
