Double Neck Mandolin/Ukulele

I'm building a double neck mandolin/ukulele based on the look of a Gibson EDS-1275. The bottom neck will have 4 strings (uke), and the top will have 8 strings (mando). I'm making sure that everything will fit before I rout the body and give it a heritage cherry finish.
