I got a couple of questions about the construction of this when I put up my Amazing Grace video. Here is another detail shot showing the back of the tail dowels and how the strings are attached. Pretty straight forward. The bass string goes in at quite a shallow angle.Also note that the box has to be screwed shut as the (useless) catch doesn't stay closed.

The box is really rough in places, which I assume is because it is a fake Cohiba (well, I'm fairly sure that it is). I stop the little catch from flopping around with Blutack - not only a low tech solution but a low tack solution.
