Two ebony and cedar bridges. The saddle is temporary. There will be a new one soon. There is a piezo stuck to a recess in the ebony and then the cedar part is glued on. The bridges and saddles can both float (held by string tension).

That's true, but between us we couldn't satisfy the demand that those companies do. Some people love their Fenders and Gibsons and Yamahas and Martins and there's nothing wrong with that. The more choice there is the better and that includes the mass produced instruments. The CBG movement simply offers more choice. It's all good. I'm pretty new to this scene so possibly there is a lot I don't yet understand, but let's not go to war (even one of words) without a very strong cause.
P.S. I don't have any secrets (because I have given them all away;-).
God, I love this site. You know, if we all worked at the same factory making these instruments, we would put Fender, Gibson, Yamaha and Martin completely out of business.
Now you're giving your secrets away ;-) So I did a few bridges like that. Well, not exactly but I did embed the piezo in the bridge. Works much better in my opinion. cuts down on a lot of finger, string and movement noise.

In fact not only does the bridge float, but the saddle floats on the bridge. Why waste glue?
All the best.
