Among the batch of cigar boxes I bought off the interweb, I had two really decorative ones that were just a bit small. So I removed a side off each and spliced them together. The lids were glued to make one large one. Then I added Eucalyptus neck with mahogany fretboard and finished with a piezo pickup. It has a nice mellow tone.
